Dear partners.
The Brazilian Government and some states have issued a mandatory quarantine for NON ESSENTIAL SERVICES / TRANSPORT starting tomorrow March 24th through April 7th. For the Transportation industry the decree allows only transport of essential items such as medical supply and equipment, food, fuel, etc. Even though it is not clear on the decree if moving services are essential or not and there is no legal guarantee to keep operating, we have decided to stop our operations.
Our crew members are not comfortable to be in the front line for now and we do not want to jeopardize their lives neither our client´s lives. Some apartment complex, gated communities, etc., are restricting access for moving services. Also, some interstate roads are being closed for transportation of non essential items. We are already in contact with customers to postpone the services. Almost 100% of the clients understand the situation and are re-planning their lives.
Our office team will be available regular hours, working from home. We will continue supporting you. Customs Officers will restrict some operations, but shipments will still be cleared. All imports cleared, will be transported and kept in our warehouse for future delivery. If the scenario changes and we are able to get operations back before April 7th we will advise accordingly. Our main goal now is to protect lives.
