NetMove is certified as “Top Performer” in FAIM 3.2 compliance procedure

Did you know that there is an International Federation of International Moving Companies?

This federation is known as FIDI – Fédération Internationale des Déménageurs Internationaux – which is the most respected association of moving companies in the world.

They provide global mobility services to families, individuals and companies.

Every affiliate complies with the rigorous FIDI-FAIM quality standard to be member, ensuring that only the best moving companies are affiliated.

Did you know that there is an International Certification for Moving Companies?

The International Certification Programme is called FAIM (FIDI Accredited International Movers) and is recognised as the supreme seal of quality within the international moving industry. The objective of FAIM is to keep the high quality and excellence at service of FIDI affiliated companies.

The programme creates a worldwide high quality standard for managing and performing International Moves services and the certification is granted only to the companies that annually meet all the requirements of the quality assessment performed by Ernst & Young (global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services), internationally.

In a recent Internal FAIM Audit (IFA) performed by EY, Netmove was certified “Top Performer” at FAIM 3.2 Compliance Procedure.

This assessment is the toughest and most strenuous in the industry and we received many compliment by the Federation for our results.

The IFA is a periodical assessment of operations, documents and procedures by own management & staff of the affiliated companies to assess if their company is consistently working aligned with the latest and up-to-date FAIM requirements. As soon as all the documentation is in order and the company is considered compliant with the Internal FAIM Audit requirements, the company will receive its confirmation of FAIM Quality Assurance Certificate.

This assures that the FIDI companies work to a worldwide common standard for managing and performing international moving services in a uniformed, quality-minded and effective way. It also provides a transparent mechanism that ensures that the standards remain high.

Choosing a FAIM certified company gives the person who moves and the HR department who is organising the move, confidence that the company knows the business and has the resources and know-how to do the job properly.

FAIM is administered by the FAIM Coordination Centre (FCC) based at the FIDI office in Brussels.
